Team-Based Task Assignment
We've moved from individual task assignments to a more flexible team-based workflow.
The introduction of teams enables fund managers to now use tasks to design and build out processes that suit their business and compliance programmes. Whether that is streamlining internal workflows, managing approvals, tracking milestones or delegating tasks across teams.
Improved Task Distribution
- Dedicated Team Queues: Tasks can now be assigned to specific teams including Compliance, Investor Relations, Finance, Operations, Management, or Advisory. This ensures that work is properly categorised and routed to the right specialists within your organisation.
- Automated Task Routing: System-generated tasks, such as new compliance checks or investor onboarding requirements, are automatically assigned to the appropriate team queue. This removes the burden of manual task assignment and ensures consistent workflow management. For example, the Investor Relations team will receive a new task each time an investor has applied to invest in a new opportunity.
- Flexible Reassignment: Team members can easily triage and reassign tasks within their queue, allowing for dynamic workload balancing based on capacity and expertise. This flexibility helps teams adapt to changing priorities and resource availability.
- Enhanced Visibility: Managers can now maintain clear oversight of both team-wide and individual task loads, making it easier to identify bottlenecks and optimise resource allocation.

Priority Settings
We've introduced a comprehensive priority system that helps teams focus on what matters most. Tasks can now be categorised as:
- Urgent: For time-critical tasks requiring immediate attention
- High: Important tasks that should be prioritized
- Medium: Standard priority tasks
- Low: Tasks that can be handled when resources permit
- No Priority: Default setting for tasks without specific urgency
Each priority level is clearly visible in the task interface, helping teams quickly identify and action their most important work.
Related Tasks
Our new related tasks feature allows you to create connections between different workflows, making it easier to:
- Track Dependencies: Link tasks that rely on each other, ensuring proper sequencing of work
- Manage Approvals: Create chains of related approval tasks for complex processes
- Maintain Audit Trails: Keep a clear record of related activities for compliance purposes
- Centralise Information: View all connected tasks in one place, reducing the need to switch between different views
Document Management
We've enhanced task documentation capabilities, enabling teams to:
- Attach Key Files: Store relevant documents directly within tasks, from investor correspondence to approval forms
- Track Approvals: Maintain clear records of sign-offs and authorisations
- Quick Access: Instantly access important documents without leaving the task interface
- Version Control: Track document history and modifications for audit purposes
Streamlined Operations
Centralised Task View
The redesigned task management interface provides:
- Dedicated Notes Tab: A specific space for team communication and updates, keeping all task-related discussions in one place
- Custom Views: Flexible table views and sorting options to suit different team needs
- History: The ability to view completed tasks or download a report with all tasks provides valuable context for team workload, resource planning and investor SLAs.
Quick Task Creation
Administrators can create tasks from anywhere on the platform:
- Entity-Level Tasks: Create tasks directly from investor entity profiles, maintaining clear connections between investors and related work
- Account Integration: Add tasks from account views, streamlining operational workflows
- Prospect Management: Generate tasks from prospect records to manage the investor pipeline effectively
